100% of the funds raised from this emergency campaign will support the relief efforts in Israel through our strategic partners including the Jewish Agency for Israel (JAFI), Joint Distribution Committee (JDC), the Israel Trauma Coalition (ITC), United Hatzalah, Friends of the IDF (FIDF), Rabin Medical Center for Orthopedic Trauma, Jewish Federations of North America Israel Crisis 2023 Fund, and our partnership region, Ramat HaNegev. Funds maybe also be released to support unanticipated needs as the crisis continues to unfold.

On October 7, 2023, during the holiday of Shmini Atzeret, Hamas terrorists launched an unprecedented attack on Israel from Gaza. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that Israel was at war to defend itself and gave the order for the IDF to commence "Operation Swords of Iron.”
