Jewish Nevada is here for good…now more than ever, to provide you with updates and resources in the wake of the rapidly evolving COVID-19 situation.

We respond in times of need, thanks to the support of our community. Each year we invest significant resources to help people rebuild in the wake of disaster. We invest in programs and services that provide a strong safety net during times of personal crises and that help to maintain the vibrancy and continuity of our community. 

The importance of a strong and vibrant community has never been more clear than it is today.  The Federation is proud to play a role in safeguarding the most vulnerable among us, and to help coordinate  and communicate the efforts of our constituent agencies and local officials.  We have begun to coordinate our efforts to support individuals and families who are experiencing increased hardship due to the spread of coronavirus—but we can only do that with the generous help from our community and people like you. 

How can you help the most vulnerable in our community during this time? Consider a gift to Jewish Nevada that we will specifically designate to our special COVID-19 relief fund. All funds will stay and be distributed here in the state of Nevada.

The fund will: 

• Address the exponentially higher need for groceries and food, necessities for the elderly, people in financial distress, and those who are socially isolated.
•  Provide relief for those experiencing hardship due to loss of work, including immediate essential goods and services such as medical needs, gasoline, childcare costs due to school closures and so much more. 
•  Allow us to meet evolving needs that will arise throughout this period of uncertainty. We have already committed $250,000 but we know this is just the beginning. The true long-term economic impact is unknown.
